SUMMER/FALL EVENTS:

U-Cut Herb and Flower Garden:

Visit our herb and flower
garden in Mack, Colorado. OPEN FRIDAY and SATURDAY MORNINGS 7:00
AM-1:00 PM, MEMORIAL DAY-LABOR DAY. Other times by appointment (we
love appointments!). You can call ahead for “What’s Blooming” or just
come out and be surprised! 5 stems for $2.00. Please bring your own
containers. Contact us for larger quantities of herbs or flowers for
your special event. Flowers generally available through mid-September.

Fruita Farmers Market:

Fruita, Colorado.  Saturday mornings,
8:00-12:00. June 26-September 18. On the lawn of the Community Center on
Aspen Street. We sell potted herbs, a small selection of essential oils
and a variety of specialty products for the home. If you wish to shop
our full product line, shop the website, phone us or visit us at our
shop in Mack, Colorado.  We are happy to have your special order at the
Farmers Market for pick-up.  Please call in advance of market day.

Basalt Sunday Market:

Basalt, Colorado.  Sundays, 10:00-2:00. June 20-September 26.  Downtown Basalt. We sell potted herbs, a small selection of essential oils
and a variety of specialty products for the home. If you wish to shop
our full product line, shop the website, phone us or visit us at our
shop in Mack, Colorado.  We are happy to have your special order at the Sunday Market for pick-up.  Please call two days advance of market day.

Arm your household and workplace for the winter flu season with herbs and essential oils to clean the air, boost your immunity, and prevent or minimize colds and flu.  People have protected themselves against disease for thousands of years with the help of plants.  We also discuss protective foods, beverages and smart personal choices to keep you snug and healthy this winter.  $15 fee. Essential Oil Blending 101:

Saturday, November 13, 2:00 PM-5:00 PM. You'll learn how to blend
essential oils into effective and harmonious compositions for personal care and
unique signature perfumes. $30 fee includes 1/3 oz of your personal
blend in an elegant glass roll-on vial. PREREQUISITE: Aromatherapy 101,
Aromatherapy for Stress Management or comparable knowledge. Call Barbara Lucks

Aromatic Gift Workshop: 

Saturday, November 20, 2010, 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. Learn to make luxurious aromatic gifts and personal care products for a fraction of the cost of high-end retail.  You will make your own customized bath salts, creams, room sprays and soothing lip balms.  Wear cooking clothes--this is a hands on workshop.  You will go home with products you personally designed, and proven recipes for your aromatic gifts.  Class fee includes all ingredients for the products you make in class.  All ingredients and containers are also available for sale to students at very reasonable prices with no minimum quantities.  All you will need is a pretty ribbon or your own custom label to complete your unique aromatic gifts. $40 fee includes all materials used in class and take-home recipes.  Limit: 8 students.  This is a great class for friends and family.  Consider private group instruction for a memorable afternoon.  Group instruction information below.

Healthy Holidays:

Saturday, December 4, 2010, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM.  Keep your family and workplace healthy and happy during the hectic holiday season.  The festive oils of Christmas do far more than just smelling wonderful.  Specific oils and blends freshen the air, kill germs, aid digestion (we all need a little help at Christmas!), and help to chase the holiday blues that can sneak in to dampen your holiday.  We will also focus on oils and natural tools to keep you warm and comfortable, even if you are dialing down the thermostat.  Make this a stress-free and healthy holiday with the help of essential oils and herbs.  $15 fee.  "Bring a Friend" special pricing: 2 students for $25

YEAR ROUND SERVICES (by appointment)

Personal essential oil sampling or shop visits:

Treat yourself to a sampling of over 50 therapy grade essential oils at our location in Mack, Colorado. No fee, but call for appointment. Individual samplings or a great shared adventure for friends and family.

Personal instruction, "The Nose Knows!":

“Aromatherapy 101” and your own personal blend. $40 fee includes basic instruction and 1/6 ounce of your personalized essential oil blend. Allow 45-60 minutes. At our location in Mack, Colorado.

Group instruction:

Customized for your group. “Aromatherapy 101” (2 hours), “Herbs 101” (2 hours), “Natural Menopause” (2 hours), “Green Housekeeping” (2 hour), “Winter Wellness” (1 ½ hour), and “Aromatic Gifts” (4 hours) are among the classes we offer. $60/hr group presentation fee includes handouts. We can work with any size group. Our Mack classroom accommodates up to 8 students and allows seasonal garden tours. We also present at your home or business location. Call to discuss your special needs.

Aromatherapy Foundation Course with optional Certification:  Now accepting students for January, 2011 class    

A wealth of practical
information you will put to work immediately for your household,
business or wellness practice. You will be able to safely and
effectively apply the
principles of essential oil use. 30 hour class requires additional exam,
projects and case studies for certification. Held on two weekends with
additional certification requirements on your own time. First weekend
can function as a stand-alone course for home use. 4 student minimum.
Attendance at all classes is a certification requirement.  Held at our
workshop in Mack, CO. 8:30 AM-5:00 PM all days. Call 970-858-9565 for
further details. $325 per student (both weekends) includes materials
and workbook. First weekend
only, $175.

CEU Students: Contact us for a class outline.
We are happy to provide a teacher resume and class outline to your
credentialing board.  Acceptance for CEU credits is at the discretion of
individual boards.  This class has been accepted by credentialing
boards in the past.
